Amelia W. (I thought it was a pretty good read. Sometimes it felt a little forced, but I liked it very well overall. Both of the stories beginings seemed a little slow, but once you got into them it was a gripping read.
Dana (Nightriders
I was a little worried if I would like this book, because the first story started out a little slow, which is sometimes not a good thing for a short story. Luckily, it picked up after only a few pages before I decided that it may not be worth my time reading and was thinking of just putting it down and not finishing it. I ended up really liking this story so I was glad I stuck with it since it was an enjoyable read even though some of the nastier characters were a little over-the-top.
The Highland Bride
After reading the first story, this one was easy to get into the groove of because it picks up with a laird who is a friend of one of the characters in the first story. I found it to be a well-done job on the connection of both stories because even though they are written by two different authors, the writing styles were so similar you aren't distracted by a story that doesn't flow in the same manner. Overall, great read.
I love this book and it introduce me to 2 new authors that are on my must read list.
This book has 2 stories. Once you start reading it it's very hard to put down. Very good book!
