A great romp with the were-creatures and vamps! I really liked the light-hearted-ness [is that a word?] of this book, and I enjoyed the characters.
I disagree with the reviewers who say her stories are unbelievable - come on! They're vampires and were-creatures for cryin' out loud! Suspend your disbelief enough to go along for the ride. You won't be sorry!

Just an 'ok' book. I'm thinking that I'm not really fond of this author as the first book (The Pleasure Master) I tried to read of her's, I couldn't get through it. I have a couple more of hers & will read them before buying/swapping any more of this author's.

As "Protector of the Blood,"^B it was Reinn Mackenzie's job to keep the Mackenzie bloodlines pure. Which meant any Mackenzie who mated with anyone other than another vampire was toast. So when Alan Mackenzie decides to marry werecat Julie Evans, Reinn travels to the Woo Woo Inn in Pine Barrens, New Jersey, to give Alan a choice: marriage or life. Reinn's duties as the official Mackenzie clan exterminator become a bit more complicated, though, after he meets Julie's sister, Kisa, and realizes he, too, is falling for a werecat. Bangs continues her wildly imaginative Mackenzie vampire series with another deliciously dark tale that is perfect for readers who like their paranormal romances sizzling, sexy, and wickedly funny.

Very good. Humor and the fantasy/sci-fi to make the romance just a little different than the "norm". Very enjoyable read.

I like that despite the dark looking cover there is humor in the story. I enjoyed this book and the familiar characters that reappeared.
Great book:)

Nina Bangs always has colorful, interesting characters. I guess this group of them is getting a little "old" to me. I still enjoyed the book, but I really got tired of Sparkle's ongoing desire to play sexual matchmaker. It is almost as though the ongoing characters don't grow or change from the beginning to the end of the book (or from book to book for that matter). Still, it is a fun romp of a naughty nature, I just didn't find it as much of a page turner as Master of Ecstasy.

This was the best book that I have read by Bangs. It was sexy and very suspenseful. Also full of vampires, werecats, and werewolves! I loved it.
