Laura (Victoria Alexander is consistently entertaining. This book included many moments of charm, irony and miscommunication throughout. The story involved an independent American girl and a proud but impoverished British lord who both want to be sure that they are loved for themselves and not the external trappings each "brings to the table."
It was somewhat predictable but very enjoyable.
