Book Description:

Jordan Casey Kerrigan's twenty spy novels have sold millions. But when a student in her community college fiction class challenges her to try writing something different, something more personal, she surprises herself by doing just that. Though The Ambassador is intended as a classroom model, Jordon also hopes it may help her get through to her troubled son Zack. But Zack's behavior grows increasingly erratic as the novel takes shape. When his suicide attempt drives Jordan to the point of panic, she finds herself somehow walking through the pages of her own novel, reaching out to embrace the character she's created but also receiving comfort and strength for her own painful circumstances. The two stories-Jordan's and The Ambassador-unfold together in a deeply moving exploration of fiction and faith, creation and the Creator, God's sovereignty and man's free will.

I LOVE Angela Hunt but I wasn't fond of this book. This is a story of a woman that writes under a pen name. She writes action books like 007. No one would read them if they thought a girl was writing them.
She ends up teaching this class about writting a book. So she writes a book in the middle of writting this book. So, there are two stories going at once. It was o.k. but not as great as her other books.

I really enjoyed this book. Hunt steps outside the typical plot line and offers a plot that demands to be remembered. I read the book in short order. I enjoyed every page.
