When young, miserable James Henry Trotter accidentally draps the magic crystals he recived from an old man, strange things do start happening. Atop the old peach tree where a blossom has never even sprouted, a peach begins to grow, and grow, and grow. James crawls inside and meets a bizarre group of human-sized companions -- including Earthworm, Ladybug, and Centipede. Soon James' nasty Aunt Sponge and Anut Spiker are miles away as he rolls off on a fantistic, wiled adventure with his new friends.
