Penny E. (Interesting read (portions are written in third person fiction, other portions are factual history, along with Christian extrapolation of Jewish tradition). Interesting, but does not go into a lot of depth regarding Jewish-Hebraic tradition. Makes a good starting point if you are interested in the Jewish roots and traditions underlying Christian teaching, and are not familiar with any of them. If you are a serious student, I would recommend a little more depth than this book has to offer.
