Again, these lighthearted mysteries are a joy to read and I look forward to No. 4.

An entertaining and heartwarming book with some of life's gentle mysteries being solved with common sense and compassion.

Mme Ramotswe continues her detective business. Mr. J. L. B. Matekoni becomes ill, and a government man says someone is trying to kill his brother.

Not as strong as the first two in the series, but still good.

Another delightful cozy light mystery with Mma Ramotswe as Botswana's "Miss Marple" in charge of the No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency and her helper Mma Makutsi and her fiance, Mr. J.L.B. Matekoni-owner of the best authomobile repair in Botswana. Full of light humor and warm characters with simple wisdom.

I am really enjoying this series, I think especially because the stories so much demonstrate actions of kindness. This is book three.

I like the insights into human nature stated very succintly by the No. 1 Ladies Detective. In this book, there were three interesting mysteries for her and her assistant to solve, plus some personal issues to be resolved. Again, very absorbing.

This is the third book in the series. Just as delightful as the first two.

A quick and easy read, seemingly simple prose but sometimes pretty deep insights into humanity and relationships. Great series (part of "The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency" books by McCall Smith)!

A window to another world, where a different set of values rule. Charming.

Delightful, always wonderful Precious never lets me down. This one focuses a bit more of assistant detective, but really a fun, easy read....

Third in the series, and the series just keeps getting better. Can't wait to read #4

the series continues.........not as enthralling as the other books but still and easy read

Another really good one from this series. You start to learn more about our main characters. These books remind me of having a cup of tea with an old friend. Give them a try if you haven't read them yet.
