I enjoyed this little book - it's funny and poignant and reminded me a lot of Roddy Doyle's work (especially Paddy Clark Ha Ha Ha).
Adorable book about two Australian kids who run away, and their imagination.
Sweet and sad novella. The author does an excellent job conveying a sense of time and place through the narration of Ashmol, the young son of Australian opal miners.
