Book Description:
Welcome to the world of Ann Coulter. With her monumental bestsellers Treason, Slander, and High Crimes and Misdemeanors, Coulter has become the most recognized and talked-about conservative intellectual in years—and certainly the most controversial. Now, in How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must), which is sure to ignite impassioned debate, she offers her most comprehensive analysis of the American political scene to date. With incisive reasoning, refreshing candor, and razor-sharp wit, she reveals just why liberals have got it so wrong.

In this powerful and entertaining book, which draws on her weekly columns, Coulter ranges far and wide. No subject is off-limits, and no comment is left unsaid. After all, she writes, “Nothing too extreme can be said about liberals because it’s all true.” How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must) offers Coulter’s unvarnished take on:

•The essence of being a liberal: “The absolute conviction that there is one set of rules for you, and another, completely different set of rules for everyone else.”

•John Kerry: “A reporter asked Kerry, ‘Are you for or against gay marriage?’ As usual, his answer was, ‘Yes.’ ”

•Her 9/11 comments: “I am often asked if I still think we should invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity. The answer is: Now more than ever!”

•The state of the Democratic Party: “Teddy Kennedy crawls out of Boston Harbor with a quart of Scotch in one pocket and a pair of pantyhose in the other, and Democrats hail him as their party’s spiritual leader.”

•Her philosophy for arguing with liberals: “Tough love, except I don’t love them. My ‘tough love’ approach is much like the Democrats’ ‘middle-class tax cuts’—everything but the last word.”

•The “Treason Lobby”: “Want to make liberals angry? Defend the United States.”

In this full-on Coulterpalooza, you’ll find the real, uncensored Ann Coulter. A special concluding chapter even includes the pieces that squeamish editors refused to publish—“what you could have read if you lived in a free country,” says Coulter. How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must) is a stunning reminder of why Ann Coulter’s commentary has achieved must-read status.

If you like Anne Coulter, you'll enjoy this book. If you don't, you won't. I did not realize which group I fit into until I read this book. While valid points about liberals may exist, the amount of ad hoc insults and exaggerated scathings she uses tends to discredit her to a point where she seems incapable of reasonable thought, convictions aside.

Don't BOTHER reading this TRASH. Ann Coulter is a hate-monger who uses her posterior instead of brain to reason with. If she had any shred of decency, she'd walk around with a bag on her head.

If you ever wondered why Ann Coulter is either loved or hated, this book on some of her more known columns will be enlightening.

You know those pundits who bore you to tears trying to balance everyone's point of view? Ann Coulter isn't one of them.

I'm a Republican and some of this stuff made me cringe. Coulter is much more hard-core Republican than me!!

Coulter is so incendiary and negative, it is a wonder that anyone can read her books. If you're requesting this book, you probably think George W. Bush was a good president.

Ann Coulter occasionally writes about some judicial issues that are over my head. However, her column on "The Battle Flag" was well-written and researched, and I thought--brilliant. Her "A Republican Tribute to John" was touching. "Sally Does Monticello" was informative. "If You Sup with the Devil, Use a Long Spoon" was so good and practical that I made my daughter read it.

Ann's book " How to Talk to a Liberal" is quite informative and down right unbelievable. For the umpeeth time in the past thirty years I was utterly ashamed of my government. I love my country, I love its Christian foundations, I love its ideals and its freedoms, its just the older I get the more I read about its corruption the more I am sad at how the leaders of our country have changed it for the worse.
This book proves Coulter definitely stays on top of current events and world, political news and I appreciate her candor and sarcasm, she is articulate and unique and much needed in the arrogant world of politics. I had no idea the Dept. of Transportation chief Norman Menita sued several airlines right after 9-11 because they were being overly cautious regarding Middle Eastern travelors and he sued them! Unbelievable. Her book is packed full of information we as Americans need to read and if your a Repbulican, Democrat, Liberal or Conservative youll get not a few chuckles from her perspectives. No wonder O'Reilly likes her,she invented the no spin zone. I give the book 3.9 just cuz she enlightens us on what is really going on in American politics and its about time we exposed it!
