Rose is a thirty-year-old attorney with a secret passion for romance novels. She's going to start exercising next week, and she dreams of a man who will slide off her glasses and tell her she's beautiful. Maggie is twenty-eight and drop-dead gorgeous. Although her stardom hasn't progressed past her hip's appearance in a music video, she dreams of fame and fortune. These two sisters claim to have nothing in common but DNA, a childhood tragedy, and a shared shoe size, but when they're forced into cohabitation, they just may learn that they're more alike than they thought.

I really enjoyed reading this one, apparently i am one of very very few who did. Maybe its simply because the books starts out a little slow and dry but once you really get into it. It forms a fast pace and an ending the truely makes you want to read more! And it Definatly makes you think. In her shoes is the perfect title for the books because not only should we try to put ourselves in someone else's shoes from time to time but The one sister Maggie really does litterally steal her sisters shoes lol.
Happy reading everyone!

WOW!! This book is such a heartwarming story. Jennifer Weiner is so great at making you fall in love with these characters. A MUST read for any woman!

Maggie and Rose are a little cliched at the beginning of the book, ones fat ones thin ones pretty the others plain ones a smarty the oter has a learning disability. Once the book gets going the neat little pigeon holed characters start to turn into more of a realistic portrait of the sisters and how they need eachother dispite the differences that keep them apart.

Weiner is the best writer of chicklit out there. She really gets into the hearts of her characters. This is a great novel!

A really good read about two siblings and their divergent personalities. Love and reconciliation.

A disappointment - not nearly as enjoyable as the author's previous book. The deception between sisters was hurtful and cruel, and detracted from the fun of the book.
