Part of her vampire series. Vampire hunter Eden mistakes Lauren, a renegade vampire of the brutal Tribe Manitcore, for her new partner. He's not about to correct her. He needs help cracking the encrypted files on the laptop full of sensitive files he has stolen from his Tribe Prime before they catch up with him. When his Tribe captures Eden and Laurent proves his loyalty to them in the most shocking way, Eden vows to kill him. Can he find a way to prove his love for her...before an full-on war breaks out between vampires and humans?
Laurent appears in earlier books in this series as a somewhat smarmy character. This book fleshes out his character development, but you can read these out of order.

Good book. This is the first book I've read by this author. I've requested two others based on how much I liked this one!

When vampire hunter Eden Faveau mistakes Laurent, a renegade vampire of Tribe Manticore, for her new partner, he's not about to correct her. He's stolen a laptop full of sensitive files from the Tribe leader, Justinian, and needs help cracking the encryption. At first he wants sexy and intelligent Eden only for her computer wizardry ... but soon he wants her for much, much more! Can he find a way to prove his love for her before a full-on war breaks out between vampires and humans? I couldn't put this book down!

I enjoyed this book. I like that the hero isn't all good and noble, but has shades of gray.
