Book Description:
The alarm on Hallie's biological clock is buzzing. She's hitting the big three-O and there's no prospect of marriage, no man in sight. Hallie, an organized, goal-setting kind of person, gives herself one year to meet Mr. Knight...In Shining Armor.
But all her dates are disasters. (There's the cheapskate and the sex fiend...well, never mind.) Too bad she can't just fall for her good-looking neighbor, Steve Marris--who's definitely NOT her type.

Anyway, Steve's busy trying to win back his ex-wife, Mary Lynn, who's busy getting married--but not to Steve. Life would be so much simpler if HE could fall for someone else. Like...Hallie.
They're friends, though--and sometimes friends become lovers. Sometimes friends become MORE.

It was a sweet romance...with a side romance involving the main couples best friends. Lots of humor. It's a good read.

Entrepreneur Hallie McCarthy holds her sister’s newborn in her arms and immediately decides that she needs to get married and have some babies of her own. But Hallie finds that her business savvy doesn’t help her in her search for love, and her plan falters. Luckily, sweet and sensitive Steve Marris lives right next door, and he may be just the man to open her eyes to a new way of loving.

I just love it! Hallie decided it was time to get married. She gave herself a year to have a husband - though she wasn't even dating. Her college friends (some of them) were working on their second marriage and she had started her own business and worked to build it up. The story is a riot of horrible dates. A great laugh by Macomber!

If I want to get married and have a family (and I do) it's time for a PLAN!! Starting now.

This was one of my favorite Debbie Macomber books, though I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the ending. It didn't seem as well developed as the rest of the book. But I would definitely recommend this book to others. It was laugh out loud funny! Great story!

Cute book that reminded me of When Harry Met Sally. Easy read for a nice summer day.

Typical romance story that you can figure out the end of almost from the beginning. Easy, fast reading. There are funny things that happen that make it worth reading.

Hallie is turning 30 and has decided that she wants a husband and a family. It isn't as easy to find a good man as she thought it would be. Steve lives next door. He wants to get back with his ex-wife and children and be a family again. They become friends.

hallies biological clock was ticking and she needed a husband so she gives herself a yr to find her knight. Steve Maris was her neighbor who was still in love with his ex wife. These two are friends but not each others type. What happens when they become more?
