Really funny, in a campy sort of way, and extremely sexy. The hero and heroine are the two dumbest people I've ever met in a romance (which is saying a lot), but boy, do they go for each other.

I haven't read much of Ryan, but I was not impressed with this story. It's set in Colorado / Texas in the late 1800s. The heroine was selfish and spoiled. Her character wasn't even redeemed by actions, only a dialogue near the end of the book when she explained her "past" to the hero. I didn't feel like the relationship developed well at all, and the resolution seemed convienent. Having said that, the descriptions of the sccenery and action were detailed and did put pictures in my mind, and the hero was likable throughout. I don't highly recommend this book however.
