A man gets a call telling him that his wife (from whom he is separated) has not been seen in several days and is believed missing. He goes to the lake home they used to share (with his 19-year-old girlfriend in tow) to try to find her. However, events take place that lead people (and eventually even himself!) to believe that he is responsible for the woman's disappearance. Is he or isn't he?

I thought this book was interesting. What appears to be a cut-and-dried mystery story turns into something deeper. The story was a little confusing at times, as it relies heavily on flashbacks, but a good read. I finished it in one sitting!
