I started reading this book about five o'clock Saturday night and finished it Sunday morning around ten. I sobbed and sobbed at the ending. It is a very moving, very honest, very believable book. It makes you consider what you do and how you do it. It makes you think about judging people and loving people and losing those you love. It is a wonderfully written, meaningful book. I couldn't put it down.
I wasn't as impressed with this book as I was with Million Little Pieces. I had a hard time getting through it and felt that it was very redundant at times. I almost got the feeling that the author was getting paid per word. An unfortunate disappointment.
Very similar to Frey's other writings but I enjoyed it. There is a lightness and humor to his writing which makes it easy to read.
i thought this was an awesome follow up to a million little pieces. i cried in the beginning and at the end, but i was on james' side through-out his entire story!
This is a wonderful book!! Once I started it, I could not put it down. It's almost like you are reading about people you truly know. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has an addicted person in their family. It is very insightful into the mind of a "user"...
This is a very, very well written book. If you enjoyed A Million Little Pieces, you will not be dispointed by this one.
Very good book, didn't enjoy it as much as A Million Little Pieces, but a nice, easy read, good story, perfect ending.
This isn't a bad read: it's entertaining, though after James Frey's "outing" on Oprah for not writing a strictly factual autobiography, it's probably not completely true. I read it in two days, so it's an easy read.
