Very good book! I got this book of PBS (2003 version) and thought I'd check it out before I spent money on the newest one that came out earlier this year. The book has all kinds of information about what brands are the greatest, what to look for in products, and how to save some money. While I found the book more as a reference to what products were good to buy, it did have some wonderful money saving tips!

For example, the section on crib sheets tells you what to look for in a good set of sheets- elastic all the way around not just on the corners, high thread counts, etc... It also tells you what brands are worth your money and what brands may seem like a "good bargain" but end up costing you more in the long run because they shrink or got worn out on the first wash.

Book that offers secrets to saving 20-50% on everything for baby. The book includes best web sites that offer the biggest discounts, name brand reviews of bedding, monitors, high chairs, diapers, and more. Tons of tips for those that are expecting.

Loved this book! It had so many ideas on what to buy and what not to buy. I was able to read it (and highlight and underline) in one sitting. I could not put it down. Helps to put your mind at ease when making such big and small purchases!

This book was a lifesaver when registering for our twins. The authors' number one concern is the safety of the products they recommend, with value being the second most important thing. The book is organized well so you can look back to it as a reference later.

Much, MUCH more helpful than the Consumer Reports baby review book. I took both to the store with me when registering, but ended up leaving the CR book in the cart and referring only to this one.

Best book for learning how to save money on baby items, and get great reviews on baby products. They also provide web access to get the latest reviews online. Very helpful!!!

This book was my main source for my registry and then I used it later to make big purchases as well. It gives a great review, price range of that product and then what is recommended. The reviews are on pretty much anything you would consider purchaseing for a baby or child. I love it and if I was having more children use it again.
