"This series is great. In this story our heroine is actually blind, but of course that lessens her appeal not at all. These stories are historical and sexy, what a combination."

"Amy is an A personality that loves working but her teenage daughter thinks she needs to slow down and have some fun, so she signs her on to her new Virtual Reality Pirate game. Suddenly Amy was sucked into the game, falling in love, and fighting for her life. It's a cute story if you let your imagination run."

"This is part of the LeDeux series. Charmaine LeDeux is running from a loan shark and runs to her ex-husband, who is not really an ex, and claims that she is a born-again virgin. This is another funny addition to the series."

"Are you curious about the weather? Why does the weather keep changing? Why do clouds have different shapes and colors? How often does lightning occur? What do volcanoes have to do with the weather? You will find the answers to these and other questions about weather. From the back of the book."

"Louisa Clemens is a young Governess who falls for an exotic stranger who won't take no for an answer. In fear she runs from him heading home to her family in London when her boat is boarded by pirates, and she is taken off to be sold in the white slave market. When all seems lost her 'exotic stranger' swoops in to save her, but now she is his slave, will she ever be free again?
I read her Sugar and Spice anthology and loved it, but I found this to be lacking in so many ways."

"I really like Jane Feather's Regency stories, but this one is during the American Revolution and so not a keeper for me. It's a good story, just not a keeper."

"Change a mysterious liquid from purple to pink, then to green, and back to purple again. Learn to grown rock candy crystals good enough to eat. Discover what makes the bubbles in soda pop. These experiments will not only make you feel like a mad scientist--they'll help you see that doing science is even fun than magic! From the back of the book."

"A Victorian re-enactment in Cheshire, England with the Duke of Bridgewater and his unconventional, American duchess. Funny, lively, and endearing."

"Beware the wrath of a true shrew, she may win in the end, even over love. I really enjoyed these characters and would happily read more of her books."

"Set in Northern Scotland in the mid 1500's. I enjoyed laughing with the heroine and her twin sister and thought their bravery in the face of men used to having their way with no questions asked was terrific! Good read, I'd like to read the next one."

"Set in the Scottish Highlands in the late 1600's when women were simple property of their husbands and had no rights how can a woman escape her husband and survive? The Scottish brogue is heavily portrayed in this story and you fell yourself swept right into the countryside."

"Scottish vampires...who would have thought it? These two stories are great, but I enjoy her Highland series more."
