"From the back cover:
Take a cozy bed-and-breakfast, a missing guest and a mysterious stranger...throw in a pile of bones, a past-due bank loan and the cops...and it's no wonder innkeeper Beth Randall needs a vacation from her life! Her dizzy aunts mean the world to Beth, but could their dabblings in the occult have finally gone too far? Now handsome Dr. Brad Donovan has arrived on her doorstep looking for his missing father--last seen here at the Two Sisters Ordinary. Sure, Beth would love to explore the sudden attraction between them--but not if it means implicating her family in murder! Dating the doctor could be fun, but it's probably just, well...asking for trouble."

"Pretty good read. Cord's treatment of Maggie gets ugly at times, but maybe it justs makes it sweeter when he finally admits he loves her."

"A brand-new love story from Diana Palmer. JB Hammock is the heartbreaker and is loved by Tellie Maddox. However, JB is truly a jerk towards her and I found it difficult to see anything redeemable about him in spite of how much Tellie love him. He is not really convincing when he makes his turnaround after Tellie is injured and has a partial memory loss. This is one of the stories set in Jacobsville, TX and I liked it but would have liked to see more clearly something of what Tellie saw."

"The New York Times bestselling author of Hot Pink-and the first lady of erotic romance-presents a sizzling new tale.
Stella Scott doesn't date customers. So when a superhero-in-the-flesh strolls into her comic book store, snapping up rare editions and insisting on taking her to dinner, she knows she's in trouble. It isn't long before Stella finds herself revising her little rule. But while she's having a blast between the sheets, there's no way she's going to let herself do something stupid...like fall head over heels in love. Hopefully it isn't too late..."

"There's something strange afoot in the small town of Mojo, Louisiana. Yet even as the annual voodoo festival gets underway, Penny Francisco, who runs a health food business, refuses to believe in black magic. Her mind is on celebrating her divorce from her lying, cheating husband Deke. Add a Pinprick of Revenge ... Fueled by run-ins with her ex-mother-in-law and Deke's busty mistress, Penny is eager for the "emancipation party" her friends plan. When she receives a Deke voodoo doll as a gag gift, she sticks it with a pin as a joke. But when Deke winds up fatally stabbed, the police aren't laughing. And Watch Things Boil Over ... A junk-food junkie P.I. offers his services, and although Penny is wary of the sexy Cajun's motives (and his diet), she's desperate. Dodging a media sideshow and a looming murder rap, Penny realizes that somehow she's landed herself In Deep Voodoo."

"Stephanie Grant's first step onto the secret third floor of Chez Sophia frightens her ... and strengthens her resolve. Here in New Orleans, in this luxurious world of beautiful women, wealthy men, and heady champagne, she's about to begin a perilous charade to find her missing sister. But her most reckless--and thrilling--journey will be surrendering to the spell of one man's desire.
Her guide will be Jake Broussard, the bartender and ex-cop who immediately sees through her act and becomes her ally. As his eyes and soft Cajun accent send her senses reeling, she'll find herself experiencing pleasure for the very first time in her life...and losing control. Her defenses are about to slip away with her satin gown and her lacy lingerie, baring her body and soul."

"There is only so much frustration a guy can handle before he gets a little nutty. For Jude Jamison, his frustration has a name - May Price. She's everything the former Hollywood bad boy actor came to Stillbrook, Ohio, hoping to find: open, honest, loveable, and full of those luscious curves you don't find on stick figure starlets - curves May doesn't seem to appreciate in herself. Every time Jude tries to get close to the skittish business woman, to take her in his arms, she thinks he is jokingt. Joking? Joking does not include cold-shower therapy. Time for new tactics. If May can't respond to his sly compliments and sexy innuendos, he'll just have to spell it out for her. Judes is going to lay down the law to May - and after that she will have no delusions about just how much he wants her."

"Lily Peterson is no stranger to taking chances. This was before an accident nearly killed her. After months in physiotherapy, this former firefighter has a new motto: look before you leap. It's not as much fun, but it works.
Still, it's killing her that she has to start over again, more slowly this time. But she's going to do whatever it takes. After all, her latest job guiding a simple hiking trip through the Sierras hardly qualifies as risky. That is, until she looks at hiker Jared Skye -- and wants to leap into his bed. And if she's lucky, he'll take thaings slowly, too...."

"Anything That Can Go Wrong . . .
Nothing is going to go wrong. Ashley Miles has worked too hard for her independence to let some Bentley-driving hunk named Quinton Murphy interfere with her plans -- or her freedom. Yes, the chemistry is phenomenal. Kind of scary, actually. But that's it. NO emotional commitments.
. . . Will
But he's SO wonderful -- a woman could fall in lov . . . How did that happen? That wasn't part of the plan! But can she trust him? Really trust him? The man is just so mysterious. There's only one solution: put it all on the line and see what Quinton does when she tells him how she feels. And hope everything that can go wrong . . . won't . . ."

"Toni Fraser and her friends think they've hit on the ultimate moneymaking plan. Buy an ancient run-down Scottish castle. Turn it into a tourist destination. Sweep visitors into a reenactment that combines fact and fiction, complete with local history, murder and an imaginary laird named Bruce MacNiall.
But when the castle's actual owner - a tall, dark, and formidable Scot who shares the fictional laird's name - comes charging in, Toni is shocked. How is it possible he even exists? Toni invented Bruce MacNiall for the performance...yet every particle of his being is eerily familiar.
Soon the group is drawn into a real-life murder mystery; young women are being killed, their bodies dumped nearby. And Toni is having sinister lifelike dreams in which she sees through the eyes of the killer - dreams that suggest a connection to Laird MacNiall. Bruce claims he wants to help catch the murderer. But can Toni trust him...especially when his ghostly double wanders the forest in the black of night?"

"Love is sweeter the second time around. . . .
Act One: Girl Leaves Boy
Lindsay West may have the face of a Hollywood starlet, but the demanding life of a teen celebrity never suited her. So nearly twenty years ago, she left her hit TV show and returned to her hometown of Belle Coeur, Missouri. Now Lindsay takes a role in a new play at a regional theater, unaware that she'll be sharing the stage with her former cast mate, one-time heartthrob Noah Patrick.
Act Two: Boy Tries to Win Back Girl
Noah Patrick took the gig at the Belle Coeur Theater hoping it would help revive his stalled career–but it was his heart that got the jumpstart. Playing opposite the beautiful and enigmatic Lindsay, he begins to understand that fame is fickle and fortune is fleeting but true love lasts. Growing up together on the set of the show that made them both stars, Noah didn't give Lindsay much thought. But now she has grown into someone impossible to forget.
Act Three: Anyone's Guess
Fighting off man-eating bears, Lindsay's quirky family, and a pretty serious case of pneumonia, Noah will do whatever it takes to prove that this former bad boy has turned into a man Lindsay can love . . . before the curtain falls!"

"Paul Anderson is an overworked small-town doctor and single dad who needs someone to care for his house and his dynamo twin two-year-old boys. The stunning, curvaceous redhead in his waiting room seems absolutely perfect -- too perfect, maybe. Lila is as kind and caring as she is sexy, and Paul thinks she's an angel come down from heaven ... and he's not that far off! But Lila didn't travel all this way just for full-time employment; she wants her freedom ... and has had Paul Anderson specifically in mind for something important since well before they even met. Because Paul has been designated as the ideal male, the one man who can give Lila exactly what she needs to successfully complete her mission in thirty days. And it all starts with one special kiss."

"This is the third in the series of the Stepp sisters. Kathy Love has a charming book here, as are her other two. Marty who was considered ugly in high school has become a famous model and comes back to her hometown where her two sisters now live and runs into her nemesis, Nathaniel Peck, now Police Chief. The sparks fly!"
