"This is the Darcy and Elizabeth book... it was first called The Bar Sinister - and they wisely changed the title.
I thought I was getting another Linda Berdoll book - because I enjoyed her books so much - but I had already read this one under the newer title.

"I really love Jenna's books !!
This is a trilogy read.. I read them in the correct order by accident. They would read alright if out of order though.
Jenna is quick paced and sexy... you pick up on some of the same verbage from book to book... although always varied characters and plots...
But if you want a quick getaway - and dont have a lot of time.
She is a 1 night or 2 night read... around kids and jobs...
Loved it !! have read everything of hers I could find - just because they are fast paced and FUN"

"Quite a fun and SAUCY ride... not for young readers...
Plot is intricate and well thought out...
Seems like the intimate details of an Elizabeth and Darcy we already know...

Couldnt put it down - and had to run and look for the next ...
The sequal is just as strong.
You gotta get past all the "HONEYMOON"... to really enjoy the plot."

If you love this book - you must see the BBC movie that was made a few years ago.
More heartwrenching than P&P. You have to get beyond the casting of your heroine... but you fall in love with who she is - just like the Captain does TWICE.

"This is my second favorite Jane Austen book. Pride and Prejudice bore no competition until I discovered this little heartbreaker... perhaps even more heartfelt and teachable.

"Interesting future for Scully and Molder - but a bit graphic on the plot for my taste. They always stretched the limits of the imagination in this series... but this was a bit over the top. Quick read though - based on the movie exactly.
