A spirtual autobiography, the authors personal journey, a quest to understand our common partriarch, Abraham. This book is read like a novel, very interesting and informative.

The 4th and last book in the series of "The Galway Chronicles". This novel is very emotional, Following the same family throughout the series. You are taken through many adversities with the Irish, injustice, famine, and finally escape to the new world. A must read, learning History through fiction. dg
Terrific writting by Michael Phillips... This was a quick read... I have already started into the second of the series... Two young girls from different world come together after the civil war... Both of their families have been killed... they learn to take care of eachother become best of friends, a trust in God to bring them through many challenges...dg
Very good read... I had just read Sarah and Rebecca by another author... so it was good to continue the story with Leah even though it was a little different... I still enjoyed the read... Leah turns to the living Lord, to know what love is all about... dg
The untold story of the Palestinian Christians in the middle east. Most Westerners hardly know the Palestinian side of the conflict in the Middle East. Even fewer know the plight of Arab Christians in the region torn apart by religious and political turmoil. The 3rd and last in the series "Daughters of Lancaster County"; This is even better then the first and second brings you to the unsuspecting climax. As you continue learning about the Amish way of life. The little boy who was kidnaped at one years of age find out his parents are not his blood parents and goes east looking for his true identity and family. I was so happy to have the story of Corrie's jounrnals continue after she married Christopher... A was a good read... I am so looking forward to the next in the series not wht Braxtons as they may be traveling to the East again far from Corrie's family in California...dg
A good story for all ages... Katherine Patterson's "Bridge to Terabithia" is a Winner of the Newbery Medal... Just recently released as a movie... This book is a little different... Still the same story... Some of the events that take place are different than the movie... also more detailed... isn't that the way it is though... the book always seems to be better... Although I did enjoy the movie too... Great read for those 8 years and up... smile, dg
