"I like all John Grisham books so I am a bit biased. This book wasn't quite the same as some others with the twists and turns but he takes you through a very touching and seemingly hopless case throughout with a peaceful understanding closing at the end. It's a big book but held my interest throughout."

"I've been very interested in the life of Kathryn Kuhlman since the 1970's. However, after reading this book that she personally approved really let me down. I was disappointed in the kind of person she really was. Someone so interested in the fame and power and money. It was totally eye opening and truly an easy read but so disappointing. The totally unbelieve part was that God still used her in spite of her character flaws and performed hundreds of miracles at her services. It does encourage you as a believer."

"really liked this book. Easy read. Easy to follow. Good plot and kept me interested till the end. To me that's a mark of a good book when you can stay interested throughout 375 pages and never look to see how many pages remain. Very intertaining"

"Randy Pausch really learned the lesson of life and does an excellent job of trying to teach others to live while you still have time to live. It isn't depressing or a downer. Quite the opposite. It is a book of hope and dreams. It should be required reading on the college level, again at 40, and again at 60. Happy are those who truly have learned what life is all about."

"Anyone who has ever owned a dog will love this book. I laughed till I cried. I felt so bad for them when Marley was such a tasmanian devil running thru the house and melted with them when he stood watch over Jenny when she was ill just made the story all the more real and you became a part of their family. Even better was when I realized that this was a true story. Get it, you'll be entertained for hours and hours."

"I love the writings of Elaine Viets. Her books are crafty, witty, and the plots are twisting and elusive and keep you guessing till the end. I especially like the conversations and smart remarks she has in her head when she answers someone but never speaks these thoughts out loud. Once I pick her books up I can't put them down till I'm done with the book. Not a bad one in the bunch."

"Another Elaine Viets winner. I love the twists and turns of her plots. So well written that she holds your interest right from the very beginning. Just when you think you have it figured out, oops, there's another twist. Her books just flow. This one takes place when Helen in employed at a dog grooming shop. Even the dogs are entertaining and surprise murders are coming up everywhere. And missing show dogs too. Loved it."

"I just love this Sisterhood Series and Payback does not let you down. I can't put these books down once I start to read them. This book holds your interest from the first page thru the last. I wish Fern Michaels would never stop the antics of the Sisterhood. After reading these books I always feel that, yes, their is justice after all. Maybe not by the law but justice nevertheless."

"I wish I could have gotten something out of this book. I tried, I really did. I had an open mind going in but like one of the other reviews there was just no way that I could line this up with much of what the scripture says. This book takes away the deity and magnificance of God and brings him to such a lowly place that I couldn't wait to get thru it. I read it becuase my friend said that it changed her life and wanted my opinion. To me I just wasted valuable time that I'll never get back. I would have done better to have taken that time and read some scripture. God knows how to speak to his children he doesn't need a book to bring him down to our lowly sites."
