This book by Nicholas Sparks held my interest all the way through to the end. However, I found it difficult to comprehend that as a teacher, Denise Holton does not know about speech therapy for young children, and instead of taking advantage of what is available to assist her child, ties her young child to a chair in order to get him to learn to speak.
