Addy's Angels (3 Weddings & a Secret, Bk 2) (Harlequin Superromance, No 675)
Review Date: 3/4/2006

An woman who can't say no to an abandoned child find out that six was enough. When Addy, who can't have children of her own, agrees to foster child # 7; her husband decides he needs time away from the craziness. When the town siren decides to go after Danny, Addy's trust is tested. This book is well written and the subject was different for a romance. I liked it, but Addy seemed to get too much exercise jumping to the wrong conclusion and Danny needs to learn to say what's on his mind.

These books are comfort reads for me. As is usual with a Betty Neels book the hero is a Dutch Doctor and heroine an English nurse. Can't exactly say why these appeal, they just do.

Queen of the Dixie Drive-In (3 Weddings & a Secret, Bk 3) (Harlequin Superromance, No 679)
Review Date: 3/4/2006

Carson and immigrant Tony met while they both were street kids in Cal. He often made her repeat stories of the home she hated. Ten years later she goes home to make a home for the sister she had to leave behind. She's surprised to find Tony now living in her home town and re-opening the local Drive-In Movie. Different story line. I like this one a lot.
