"I am not normally a big fan of short stories, except as a
"quick fix" for my reading addiction when at work, on breaks, but this was better than most and is going into my "keeper pile" aka my personal library."

"It has been a long time since I have had such a positive experience in a story. I haven't so much read the book as listened to it on an MP3 player, over and over and over. It is funny, sexy, romantic, and a pure delight! I fell in love with the characters, especially Pia. I hope you will, too."

"I love all of this series and the audio book versions are good in their own right. Narrator Susan Ericksen has done a fine job from book 1 through the entire series."

"This story holds many twists and turns with many characters, old and new. It was a bit confusing (for me at least) at the beginning, but it sorts itself out in the end. A good read."

"The murders were very disturbing, but then, murder should be."

"I think this is one of the better books in the series, but it is also one of the "darker" stories."

"As long as you aren't expecting anything deep, in characters or plot, this is a good, easy read (I finished it in one afternoon/evening of reading.) It had me chuckling more than once, and some of the scenes were nicely steamy. A good summer-beside-the-pool read!"

"The one problem I have with the short stories is that I wish they were full length novels. :)"

"All of the "In Death" books have two stories; one is a murder mystery, the other the story (romance)of the main characters as they develop and change within their relationships. This is why I prefer UNABRIDGED versions, as the Abridged tends to tell only the mystery story. "Visions in Death" is one of my favorites in the series, and one of the darker stories. Even as a murder mystery, this one was especially...intense...to me."
