Awesome book about how he speaks to his mother. I thought I liked Tuesdays with Morrey better but I really could not put this book down. It tells about a baseballs player life from alcoholism to break up of his marriage and loosing touch with his daughter. He ends up in a car accident because of his drinking, depression. In this he is out and speaks to his dead mother reliving his past it gives him a renewed life where he spends time with his daughter and exwife. He ends up with second chances to live a life before he dies from his head injury. Truly a bittersweet story.

This book is hard to put down. I finished in a few days. It was tragic that people and families struggle to find adequate affordable housing. NOt in america should anyone have such a hard time to find a place to live. Michelle has written other books. I find her intelligent, truthful speaking about her hardships and that so many people put her down for. We all can learn something here and we all make mistakes.
