"A very unususal and strange book, but very engaging and interesting. They made a movie from it, but I haven't seen it."

"I am a history teacher and I loved this book. It takes a real period and place in history and creates a story around a fictional character (kinda like the "Titanic" movie). This book is beautifully written and I loved it. It is one of the store, Target's picks for "bookmarked"."

"another story with Dr. Temperance Brennan...which were good until they tried to turn her into a TV show...which is absolutely NOT like the original character at all. But her books are always great."

"Dawn's the newest member of the Baby-sitters Club and everbody's glad--except Kristy. Kristy thinks things were better without Dawn around. That's why Dawn's eager to take on a big baby-sitting job: It's her chance to show Kristy what she's made of. What a mistake!"

"Bobby can't get used to his parents' divorce. The only bright spot in his life is being coached by his father in the fine art of running bases. He is getting so fast on the base paths that the fans are caling him "Fox". Then his father announces that he will have to move away from Bobby. How is Bobby going to keep his life from coming apart?"
