Wierd,but it's Stephen King. You could feel his injuries from his accident and recuperaction stint he did down here in Sarasota area. A good read for the island relaxing this summer.

The overall histroical view was one of Follets best.

Not a Doc Ford story, although she has a shadowy connection. I agree that the character is a liitle too emotional, conservative, and timid. Once you start shooting you must come to an end. I'll give him/her one more try. He'll make it happen. I've read everthing he's written. looking forward to another.

I agree. The series is pretty redundant. It can not be read as a seperate book. You almost have to read them in sequence in order to know whats goingon. With rhat said, quit explaining the same stuff. Get a new chapter started and go from there. First two chapters give description and explanations. We can skip them and get to the meat.

Another great story. Can't wait until book three comes out. Must read he frist book, in order to keep up with the writer. Very moving, logical as always with Follett books.
