Across Many Mountains: A Tibetan Family's Epic Journey from Oppression to Freedom
Review Date: 11/24/2014

This book gave me a good insight into the Buddhist life as a nun, monk, and a civilian in Tibet. It is a very moving story of survival, courage and love between simple people, and a family. The story is very moving and keeps one reading on to the next page. Thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Amish Country Crossroads: The Postcard / The Crossroad / Sanctuary
Review Date: 2/14/2015

This is a very good read. The book contains 3 novels. The "_Postcard" is the beginning. A man struggling with what he perceives is his life forever visits Lancaster county and finds the "Plain people" are what he is what he is craving and missing from his high stress New York life.
The "Crossroad" is a sequel to the first story. The New York journalist keeps returning to the " Plain people" and doesn't understand why. Finally he figures out what he wants and it is in Lancaster county.

The third novel,"The Sanctuary" is different type of novel and very intriguing. A lot of twists and turns had me continuing to read till 2 am just to find out what happens on the next page!

The Bachelor Next Door (Castle Falls, Bk 1) (Love Inspired, No 860) (Larger Print)
Review Date: 9/13/2014

This is a very good love story with lots of suspense woven into it. At first the read appears kind of boring. Why would a person who has a very good high paying job become a painter of houses. Especially when she needs a tutorial to help her get the job done. The story develops and the answers become apparent.

A very exciting and riveting adventure of our president's life and what made him the man he is today, to become president of the United States. It also paints a good picture of his relatives and the part they played in his life, his sister Maya, his grand mother and Grandfather who raised him. His absentee mother had a long arm in shaping his personality from Indonesia. A very good read.
