I don't think that you have to be a fan of the Osbournes to enjoy this biographical account of their lives. In fact, I never watched the MTV show, not even once, and greatly enjoyed listening to this CD as I learned a lot about what makes this unique entertainment family tick, and love biographies generally.
It made me laugh in places as the family is not mainstream, but considers themselves to be just that - an ordinary family.
This book was written in 2003, and gives a good account of how Pam became the Pam that we all see in the tabloids and on TV. It provides insight into her teenage years, how she was originally discovered, her time as the original "Tool Time Girl" on "Home Improvement" and on "Baywatch", and much more. It was interesting, especially as Pam will just turn 40 in 2007.
I have posted this book with the exact ISBN number listed above (0-395-35300-9), and it is a larger paperback (6" wide and 9" tall) and is not a hardback as the PaperbackSwap.com system shows it. The artwork on the cover of this paperback is identical to that shown above.
This book has a 2007 copyright, and NOT 1997, that I incorrectly typed when entering it into the PBS system. I am awaiting a moderator to make the change.
This book is printed in the UK (ahead of the US as the author is in the UK) - it will, likely, be reprinted in the US with a US publisher and this is the author's most recent work. Unfortunately, it is too new for the PBS system to recognize, and you can see a picture of it at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sixth-Wife-Suzannah-Dunn/dp/images/000723242X
