"Fun, light read. I could relate to a lot of it as a newlywed myself, and appreciated how the author turned everything into a learning experience rather than being "down" on marriage. Sometimes it was a little trite, but overall an enjoyable read."

"Fun book -- it's like "hearing" the two women talk about their lives. They have great personalities that come through as they share about their experiences living as African American women over the last 100 years."

"A must read for any Jane Austin fan. I was disappointed with how little Jane Austin was really in the story, but it's a fun read anyway."

"Very interesting biography. The author's "claim-to-fame" is his friendship with C.S. Lewis, who is very influential in his conversion to Christianity. The book is very well written and tells of the love story between the author and his wife, how they become Christians, and how that effects their relationship."

"Fascinating read, appears to be well researched, and very well written. The author tells of the history of Mormonism and interweaves it with a the story of a modern day murder."
