Adventures of a Continental Drifter : An Around-the-World Excursion into Weirdness, Danger, Lust, and the Perils of Street Food
Review Date: 1/4/2011

I thought it was interesting that the author would drop everything just to travel the world with nothing really more then some extra clothes and some cash! Most of the events that happen to him while traveling are pretty funny, but some of them are kind of disturbing.

It was interesting to find out new things about my star sign(s). I even looked up other family members and friends birthdays!

This book is useful if you need to learn different techniques on how to cut, prepare and/or cook chicken. There aren't as many recipes as I thought there would be, so I was a little disappointed. But for someone who is just learning how to cook, then this book would be pretty helpful.

Somewhat funny book. If you're the soccer mom type who gets out of bed before the sun even wakes up and is super busy throughout the whole day...well then, this book will probably disturb you a bit. I thought it was a good book and the author does make some interesting points!

This book was on the low-key side of cutting, or self mutilation. It wasn't graphic or too disturbing to read.

For some reason, I just couldn't get into this book. I read the first chapter and knew I probably wouldn't like it but I continued to read 2 more chapters in hopes that it would start getting interesting. But it didn't...not for me anyway. I've heard people say that this is their favorite Dean Koontz book, so I gave it a shot. But it was just too boring for me and right from the start I was confused because Koontz throws like 10 characters at you with not much description as to who they are and what, if any, connection they are to each other.
