"This book was hilarious! The premise is a kid who gets grounded for the summer and gets updated on history lessons from the local town historian while helping her to write obituaries. Set in the mid 20th century, I spent the whole time laughing listening to this book, and recommend it highly."

"For once, a 'happier' ending for a Nicholas Sparks book. Did enjoy the story, although it was a bit predictable in some ways. The audiobook is well read."
