This was a good story with a lot of development of the alien culture, and the illustration that the aliens have their own problems too. The thing that was somewhat annoying was the very difficult to read alien names. They were also somewhat long and sometimes it was real hard to tell the different alien characters apart.

I just finished reading this. It's a good read, full of suspense and twists in the plot. When you think A is happening, it isn't. Then you think B is happening, and it isn't. Then you find right near the end something very different is really going on. There were actually 2 ways to eradicate the problem, both interesting.

Tale of typical corporate greed and short-sightedness, with a single hero who really has the foresight to predict the disaster about to happen.

I really like this author and series. It has some action, some conversation, and an interesting way of looking at what the characters are thinking.

This is a very good book. I was surprised that the author portrayed the angels as imperfect, but still non-corporeal. In one scene angel A is beat up badly by demons. Shortly thereafter he goes to a house, loses his temper, and tries to destroy a demon there against orders from his captain. A nearby angel stops him though.

I'm not done yet but this is a riviting book where both the good and evil sides alternately win small battles, and you never know who will end up winning the war for this town.

Weird Michigan: Your Travel Guide to Michigan's Local Legends and Best Kept Secrets (Weird Travel Guides)
Review Date: 11/19/2007

I have this book and it is a lot of fun. If you like weird stuff and the paranormal this book is for you. It is divided into sections like "Legends" (legends about unusual people or places), ghosts (ghost sightings and sounds, haunted places), weird art, mysterious objects (like an ancient coin from Asia found in the UP), and such. Usually each article has a picture or drawing.
