Lots of good recipes none of them that I tried were particularly hard. I tried about half the recipes in this book and there were none that the kids didn't eat!

I absolutely adored these tales. The first story was very sweet and impresses the importance of communication. The second is about how love children and the holidays can all come together. It's two classic Nora Roberts romances.

In the beginning, there was Ezekiel "easy" Rawlins and Raymond "Mouse" Alexander - two young men setting out in life, hitting the road in a "borrowed" Ford headed for Pariah, Texas. The volatile Mouse wants to retrieve money from his stepfather so he can marry his EttaMae. But on the their steamy excursion, Mouse will choose murder as a way out, while Easy's past liason with EttaMae floats precariously in his memory. Easy and Mouse are coming of age - and everything they ever knew about friendship and about themselves is coming apart at the seams . . .

This is a really good book that grabs you from the very beginning and holds on through the end.

I LOVE this story! It is one of the most enchanting love stories I have ever read.

The daughter of a world-renowned magician, Roxy Nouvelle has inherited her father's talents - and his penchant for jewel thievery. Into this colorful world comes Like Callahan, an escape artist who captures her heart - and keeps secrets that could shatter all her illusions . . .

This book was really deep. It drew me in from the very beginning and held me. I had papers due and children to care for and I kept coming back to this book! It is the tale of a 14 year white girl, but it is also the tale of the women who helped her and lifted her up and brought her to a better place in her life.

Once Rudyard Riding Wenceslas saw to his lands, his children and the people under his rule with great and loving care. But now the melancholy Eighth duke of West Redding does nothing but pine for his dear, deceased wife Elva. And he prepares for the approaching day when a miraculous, hand-crafted flying machine will carry him deep into the heart of the weald - a mysterious and impenetrable wood with but a single edge and one entrance - where he believes his lost beloved waits.

So, begins . . . or, rather, continues . . . the tale of good Wenceslas, his heirs and his ancestors - a great disaster of a family fated to eternally repeat the fatal mistakes of preceding generations. For even as the Duke plunges from the sky into the dark, foreboding forest, Destiny;s wheel is taking a tragic, inevitable turn. And with a new bride-to-be and her many-times dead troll-hag mother in tow, Wenceslas will return to a world devastatingly altered - carrying a dread curse into his household that will propel his young daughter toward her preordained future in a mirror-land on the far side of the weald.

What follows is an adventure strange, sensuous and fantastic - a story of magic, dreams and folly, of binding, unspoken promises and obligations of blood, if not love. It is a distinctly adult fable of bother timeless and true . . . and as biting as a frigid weald wind that childs the dead and teh living as well.
