I'm glad I read this, but it is long and is bit overwrought. This is a really good translation.

It's pretty funny for a party trick. Might be fun on a desk in an office that was okay with profanity (is that possible?). Good gift idea, or white elephant.

Fixing Broken Windows : Restoring Order And Reducing Crime In Our Communities
Review Date: 12/23/2009

If you want to know anything about broken windows, community oriented policing, and the start of the movement, this is THE definitive book. Most criminal justice or policing students will read this at least once in their life. I can't count how many times I have read it. It's very approachable for a text book as well.

If you like Dennis Lehane, and the Kenzie/Gennaro books, this one will not disappoint. This one is less violent than the last two, which is not good or bad, just an observation.
