It was well written, he's good with building characters. Also very descriptive. But some passages were too graphic & by the end I decided I didn't like it. Maybe someone else will.

This was a fun read. Light, perfect for the beach or a winter's night. An interesting town with a long list of loveable characters. Light romance, but that's not the total focus of the story.

Laurell K. Hamilton is a great writer, her stories draw you in. This one included. However, it is dark. The majority of the book is captivating, but it does go very dark. If you are a true fan, it's worth the read.
