"This book really stretches the imagination about what could happen in our society. It wasn't my favorite book of all time, but I understand why it's such a classic. If I had read it during the time it was written, I would have been scared out of my wits! Happy reading. ;)"

"Francine Rivers has been given a gift in writing fictional novels. This story is about a young pastor who is called to an old church.
Faced with the pressure of a world famous preacher for a father, and wanting to build God's church, Paul Hudson makes many decisions that aren't exactly biblical. Francine paints a picture of God's heart for his sheep and the wonderful redemption He has for every one of us."

"The first in the trilogy of the true life battles of Dave Pelzer. A difficult book to read, but hard to put down."

"The prequel to The O'Malley Chronicles is suspenseful and hard to put down. It kept me interested from the first page to the last. Dave's sister Sarah has been hiding from her childhood kidnapper for most of her life. When she meets Adam Black, a famous football player, and starts falling for him, it puts her security at risk."

"I loved this book. I cried my way through the first chapter because it felt like Angela Thomas was describing my own life. There is a desire in every woman to ask the question, "Do you think I'm beautiful?", but most of us have been taught not to ask it or have been hurt so much that we are afraid to ask it. Angela Thomas points the way back to God, who always says, "You are extremely beautiful"."

"Young Alice is in college and begins experiencing schizophrenic symptoms. This book chronicles her experiences in first-person narrative. It is a good book that makes you think about our societies attitude and treatment of individuals with mental illnesses. It also shows how God is a part of everything."

"This is the sequel to Magyk. It continues the story of Septimus and the other wizards in The Castle. I liked this book even more than the first one, and I can't wait for the next installment from Angie Sage."

"Kerri Pomarolli has a great sense of humor, and a wonderful attitude of being single (most of the time). This book is different from other books for single women that I've read. Kerri simply shares her experiences, and how God has taught her to trust in Him through it all."

"I am amazed each time I read one of these books at how much Dave Pelzer has survived. This book really shares the inside track on the lives of foster children. It stretches your heart strings and makes you want to help all of the lost children out there. I highly recommend this book, as well as the others by Dave Pelzer"

"This is an easy book to read. There are a lot of characters, and the kids are the featured characters. It is about wizards, like the Harry Potter series, but it's not quite as dark. The author seems to have a vivid imagination, and the story is continually moving."

"The final book in the trilogy. A touching end to Dave's story. This book provides hope and peace at the end of a heart wrenching life story."

"I really enjoyed Joshua Harris' approach to the struggle of lust. He discusses how the only way to defeat the temptation is to rely on the power of God. As a woman, there isn't a lot of material that seeks to help me deal with this problem, but Joshua Harris seems to understand that we struggle with lust, too, but that our struggle is manifested differently. I got a lot out of listening to this book."

"A wonderful story about spiritual revival in New York City in the 1850's. The first in a series of four: "The Great Awakenings"."

"A science-fiction story much like 1984, but written before it. Set in a futuristic society. I enjoyed this book a lot more than 1984."
