This one was not the best Tempe Brennan book she has done but it was entertaining. Tempe is being framed for slop shod work, but she does not know who is doing the accusations.
She has several new assistance and doctors at work with her, It could be any one of them.
Several old cases come by her and she and Ryan attempt to figure out if there is a serial killer or these are random acts of violance.
Tempe's neighbor is also causing problems he is fussing about the cat of all things..
I would like to see Tempe and Ryan get it together and finalize their relationsship so to speak. Be a couple or not!
Don was a average Christian man, coming home from a convention when his small car was crushed by a 18 wheeler.
The EMT's checked for pulse and life signs and found none.
Along comes another minister, who insisted to pray for this dead man.
The ministers prays, and led by the Spirit of God, speaks life into the dead body...he starts singing "What a friend we have in Jesus", and the corpse comes to life singing also.
The EMT's are harder to convince but they eventually come at the minister's prodding and all hell breaks loose. The dead man is back to life.
The rest of the tale is Don's experiance with experimantal bone growing devices and the intense pain and depression that he had.
A very real and honest account of a Christian struggling in day to day lie with cronic pain.

Another great installment from Jeanine Frost. Cat has found that someone is after her, and Bones. They go for her mother first and then she comes to the house to find Max, her vampire father at the house holding Justine her mom, hostage.
Her father tries to kill her, but Bones comes along right at the nick of time and saves the day.

This is a very easy, cute book to read. A young man, finds a cold hungry kitten on his doorstoop.
He takes her in, out of the cold, and starts to feed and care for her.
She teaches him about true love, not the love that his manipulating girlfriend sems to think is love.
He calls this exquisite cat, Frankie. Frankie, follows him everywhere and loves him unconditionally.
The man meets a woman, that is not really hit "type" but he starts to fall in love with her like the cat.
The cat trusts this woman absolutely. Then comes the day the man has to make a decision, stay with the woman, or go aftger the girlfriend that is alluring but fickle.
He goes to meet the girlfriend one day and Frankie follows him out of a door that is not fully shut, and gets hit by a car. The man is devestated and learns that love is always pursuing you and you must pursue it in turn.
Frankie survives and the man, having come to his senses, leaves the bitchy girlfriend and loves the woman, totally.
This is a really cute book. The photos are great and they have some real funny captions...
My son loves this book and has wore it out looking at it over and over. Choosing his faves.. These kitties remind us of ours at the house.
This is a awesome look into the heart and mind of the deep south in the late 50's and 60's.
The author dyes his skin and becomes black. He instantly get treated differant by the whites and blacks alike. I remember the blacks only water fountians and feeling very bad for my friends who were black that they were "differant." To me they were just friends.
It is a very sad, and thoughtful book. I highly recommend it. VERY well written.
I give it 6 stars
This is about two of the world's best cavers: American Bill Stone and Ukrainian Alexander Klimchouk... these two men are looking for the same thing: the world's longest deepest cave.
This is a good book, well researched and has action and adventure galore... you can almost feel the water, the noise from the waterfalls and the darkness all around you.
These men and women explorers, experiance hunger, fatigue, hallucinations, injuries and sometimes death on their quest to find the deepest cave in the world.
This is not something I would ever choose to do, but this book gives youo such a good description of what is going on it is like you are there.... one passage describes a caver coming upon thousands of daddy long legs inches from his face, and every time he breathed they'd get aggitated.. (((YIKKS))
if you like action adventure it is the book for you...
This book is set in the mountains of N.C. in Grace. The Church of the Everlasting Sin has a base there and Tessa a Haven Operative is sent to infiltrate.
Rev. Samual was severely abused as a child and during a rape, has his physic powers awaken. Later, he is hit by lightening during a tent revial and it increases his powers.
He is evil and takes power off the other women in the group.
This book had a lot of dialogue and it took a while to even get into the good parts of what was going on. Had alot of fits and starts.
This one was not as good as the others of hers i have read.
This book is not one of Kellerman's best with Alex and Milo. I usually love Milo and Alex together, but this one kinds lagged.
The book starts off with a high school student getting a call about something in the marsh, where he is volunteering. The director of Save the Marsh is a weird old coot and checks in but the high school student keeps mum about the weird call.
The next day, the body is discovered. A bright young piano teacher is found, with her hand cut off. Soon more bodies begin to pile up and they are all facing east, with the right hand cut off.
Milo and Alex go on the hunt.Several new characters lend a good mix in this story and it does get interesting, it just did not have the verve that the first Milo and Alex stories had.
Hope the next ones pick up the beat..

They always signal violence and death,.

Odd feels the clock is ticking down to finding out who is behind the evil and why did they call it into being?
This was the sweetest little book about a stray cat this couple took in. She worked her way into their hearts and bed. Squeeky was very talkative and loving, had many hunting episodes and triumphs over the neighborhood cats.
a very nice book to give any cat lover.
Jillian Hart is rebuilding her life after her husband suddenly passed away. She has a special quilting business and she has her three beautiful cats.

this was a cute fantasy romance. Maggie is a cat and she loves her owner Nick.
She cuts a bargain with the old one eyed tom cat, he will make her human for a week, but Nick must ell her he loves her in that week before all hallows eve is up.
This tale is amusing and sweet. True love prevails.

This was a good book, but got wordy through out the whole thing. He gives some good examples of what he is trying to convey with snap shots into his past.
Some of the stories are real funny, and make me so glad i was not raised in a christian school.
He give some good though provoking questions at the end of each chapter to round out the feel of that chapter.
Callie is a young teen tht has alot of presure at home. When she was watching her smaller brother one night, Sam had a asthma attack and Callie has to find her parents. She tracts her dad at a bar, and they go home and take Sam to the hospital. Sam almost dies and the guilt causes Callie to start cutting herself to deal with her guilt and feelings.
She is sent to sea Pines a ward for troubled girls.
She make some friends and starts healing at the centre. This story was a quick easy read, it was kind of shallow the characters were not well formed as i thought they could be. A better book on cutting is Willow.
Amy Redwing is a survivor of a haunted and terribly violent marriage, and she has made a new name for herself. Her boyfriend, Brian is also haunted by his past.
One day Amy rescues a golden retreiver from a violent drunk. The goldens name is Nikki, just like Amy's dead child.
Meanwhile, Brian is getting threatening emails from his ex, Vanessa. Venessa uses their daughter against Brian and she hates the little girl she named Piggy.
Eventually everything comes to a head. The rescue mission for dogs, the little girl who needs a loving home, Brian getting her back and the sadistic Vanessa and her boyfriend.
I used to love this series but the past three books have been forced and lacking in interesting plot and story.
Eric is my fav but he seems flat in this book so much so that i almost just put this down and walked away. Bring back the intensely interesting plot we came to know and love...
And what happened to Elvis/Bubba?? He disappeared...killing off Claudine?? It just is so lacking...please bring back the Sookie/Eric vibe we all loved..
the best book was when Eric was bewitched and fell in love..
