Reading along, liking the story, wondering where it is going, then bang - an unexpected twist for me, who doesn't always read the back of the book which sometimes has spoiler info...

While I liked the read and the way the story changed, it ended undeveloped for me. Well, and what, and what else....

My Ishmael was a read that left me satisfied with the story and thinking long afterwards, still has me thinking. I doubt this one will have the same impact.

This is a book that lingers. I picked it up because of the cover and title.. which reached out to me. There were many things in the book that were so real, and deep.
Sometimes it was hard to read.
This is fiction that tells the truth.

Captured me in the first moments and never let me down. The best fiction contains all truth. This is very good. The sun here came out for the first time in weeks and I was hard pressed to put the book down and enjoy the warming rays. A book easily started and finished in one setting, as long as you ingnore the sunshine calling. As a mother, I see how even unintentially I am affecting my daughters lives and feelings of self.

I picked up this copy and then realized when home I already had a copy.. Which told me it was time to "get it done" and read it. It was exactly the right book at the right time for me. So if you have had it on your reading list, now is the time to open up to the meaningfulness of daily life.

This is a book I take off of the shelf, open a page and read out loud, to who is with me, to the world, to no one in particular. I think, even if no one is listening, the words are strong enough to change the world. And then I pull out "I Sit Listening to the Wind"

I bought myself this deck as a treat. They are beautiful. With them I have developed a deeper sense of myself, my memories and the path I am walking in this world. I highly recommend this deck for anyone who is interested in tarrot, goddesses, mystery in the modern world. My purchase was not to presue tarrot mastery, it was a purchase of fun and joy. It has taken me deeper than I thought!

Very easy and informative read. Raised catholic of irish heritage, even in my religious wanderings I have had a sense of grounding and pride in those roots. Now I know why. The information ties celtic myth to religious practices of today, and provides insight into the why deep multi layered old sacred tradition survives in Ireland today.
