Roberts comes through as well as she always does in this thriller involving an archaeologist, her ex-husband (or is he ex??), and secrets about her birth which have been kept from her. The whole story about her birth unwinds in rather spectacular fashion when she confronts the man and woman she has always believed to be her mother and father. Further research shows her that not only the adoption was kept secret. Very good reading.

Lord Senet Gaillard was an honorable knight. Had there been another path to reclaiming his ancestral castle other than wedding Lady Katharine, he would have taken it. But the deed was done, and now he must woo his reluctant bride--for winning her heart had become more important than life itself.
