This is book 1. Last fall I read book 4, Killer Instinct, and now I am reading book 2, Better Read than Dead. Great series
If dogs could talk....oh the stories they could tell. Don't you sometimes wish you knew what your pet was thinking....whether or not the understand what you are saying? This book shows you that perhaps they understand more than we think they do.
This book was full of emotions...drama, but the chapters are short and I really enjoyed it.
I had read the 2nd book in the series, "Fair Play" a few months ago and had a hard time getting my hands on this one. I'm glad I was finally able to. I really enjoy her writing and look forward to more books from her.
A very touching and inspiring true story of Martin, who, when he was 12 years old, he came home from school with a sore throat. Over the next two years, his mind and body shut down, until he was left a quadriplegic who could not speak. Then, around the time he was 16, his mind started coming back to life. He tells his story in the book, Ghost Boy.
Having just finished Men in Kilts by this author, I am tackling another one of her books. I really enjoyed this one. The main character, Alix is insecure but fun. There are some moments in the story that had me cracking up and some that I could even relate to. A really enjoyable read!
Meet the Chandlers-- a trio of sexy brothers and the most eligible men in town... until their mother falls ill. As her three sons gather at her side, she makes her two desperate demands: "Get married! Give me grandchildren!"
This bk is Rick Chandler's story. Heroine is Kendall Sutton.
There were a few times I almost put this book away, but I am glad I didn't. It's a story about life for a Middle-Aged Professional Woman, with grown children and a busy husband who finds her life turned upside down. I don't want to give to much away though, but it is a good book. Like I said, I was not to sure at first, but the more I read it, the more I enjoyed it.
Even a man on the run can enjoy the thrill of the chase...
