While interesting, this book was way too detailed for my taste.

For anyone interested in bush flying over the U.S. in an open cockpit plane, this is a terrific example of bonding between a father & son. A feel-good read for wannabe pilots.

If you read and enjoyed Nicholas and Alexandria by the same author, you'll love Peter the Great. There is an astonishing amont of material, but it reads like an historical novel.
The only thing I found difficlt was keeping track of the many many personages involved.
Mr. Massie is a genius in this Rissuan category. Read it and enjoy!
