This was my first intro to Samantha James and I found it an interesting read. However, it's the 3rd in a series of three that apparently includes "A Perfect Bride" and "A Perfect Groom" so now I'l be on the look-out for these other two to read as well!

The last book in this fabulous trilogy!
The third book of the Sterling series. Set in the regency period. Julianna Sterling is an independent woman who owns two homes; a townhouse in London and a small home in Bath. She has little use for men, since she was left at the altar, seven years before. Then she is taken captive by a highwayman. While this plot sounds like it is too trite to be a good book-all that takes place before page 30-and that is only the beginning!

Last book of the series. Had likable characters. Although I liked the second book the best of the series, this one was okay.
I am a big fan of Ms. James, but this one did not capture my interest for some reason
Can a perfect scoundrel be the perfect hero? A great read.
A great story as are the others in this series. If you like Historical Regency romance you'll like these.
Great novel, part of a great three-book series

Regency romance - Viscount Dane Granville has been working undercover as "the Magpie" to catch a spy.Lady Julliana Sterling is on one of the coaches he robs, she is hurt, he tends her, she shoots him, she tends him. They fall in love, & catch the spy
Excellent last episode of her Sterling family triology. I love everything Samantha James writes.
I got trapped at the Austin airport for 6 hours and read everything I already had so I actually bought this book for $8.00. I picked it because it looked a lot like the Stephanie Laurens books I recently started reading.
I did not like it as much as the Laurens books, but it was okay and 355 pages so helped a lot for the long wait.
I may have liked it better if I had read the first 2 in the series before this one...just a thought.
