"Courting Trouble" is about a newly hired attorney, Anne Murphy, in an all female law firm with a weakness for nice clothes and a tendency to put it all on her credit cards.

As a light and frothy read, this book is excellent. Ms. Scottoline is an exceptional storyteller, and any annoyance over the technical flaws is quickly undermined by the desire to find out what happens on the next page.

This is a great book. I have just discovered Scottoline and really like her books. This one is a great read!

Fun mystery, with a delightfully out-of-step lady lawyer stepping on toes as she goes, out to solve a murder - her own!

Anne Murphy is smart,goureous, and young, the redheaded rookie at the Philadelphi law firm of Rosato & Associates. She leaves town for the Fourth of July weekend to prepare for a high-profile trial, but when she buys her morning newspaper her own photo is plastered all over the front page.
And the headline reads -LAWYER MURDERED- supposedly refers to her. Anne sets out to find her killer, playing dead to stay alive.
The investigation takes all of Anne's boldness and ingenuity, but her knack for courting trouble makes it almost impossible for Anne to play well with others and fight her urge to sleep with the enemy. Then an unexpected event places her in lethal jeopardy and leaves her with everything to lose-including her life.
Really enjoyed this one.

Fast paced, humourous, & full of surprises!

The book I have has this same ISBN#, but mine is Softcover. It states, on the front of the book, "Advance Reader's Edition."

This is more of a woman's book. It was a lot of fun to read. It's about a woman who reads she is dead in the newspaper and along with 3 other women starts to investigate her own death.
