Book Reviews of Ice Hunt

I had never read any of James Rollins' books, but I certainly will read more in the future. It was a great page turner, full of action, thrills, suspense, and love. It's based the the Arctic Ice Cap with American and Russian military espionage with some sci-fi thrown in.

Very fast paced and imaginative. A very good read. I'd compare it to a Cussler or DuBrul with a touch of Sci-Fi thrown in.

I've read several of Rollins' books & although they all have a common thread, they're very interesting & keep you turning the pages. This author has an awesome imagination. This book is suspenseful & gripping, full of military intrique and even has a couple of romances. I highly recommend this book along with 2 of his other books: Amazonia & Excavation.

So interesting. Would have never picked this type of book up (sci-fi kind of) but so glad I did. Went on to read another of his

Excellent book-definitely on par with others like Cussler and Iles. It starts out strong and finishes strong. A definite must-read.

Great author-I have read three of his books and enjoyed them all.

I enjoyed this book, I could barely put it down. Trying to figure out how we would get out of the next "situation".

I really enjoyed this book. very suspensful and hard to put down.

At times this book feels very long, but overall, a satisfying thriller from an author who really knows the genre.

James Rollins continues to be one of my favorites with Du Brul and Reilly. Great story with great heros!!

Sort of like Dan Brown's "Deception Point" in that there is a government cover-up and the action takes place in the Arctic. But this book is so much better. There is constant action and so many likeable characters.

One of his best stories.
