This was the first of hers that I read. It was really good. I liked the way she brought everyone home regardless of what side of the tracks you are from now.

when prosecutor vicki allegretti arrives at a rowhouse to meet a confidential informant she finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time and is almost shot to death she barely escapes with her life but cannot save the two others gunned down before her disbelieving eyes stunned and heartbroken vicki tries to figure out how a routine meeting on a minor case became a double homicide then she sets out to see justice done she can identify the killers now all she has to do is find them

Really interesting and diverse characters - fast action. Highly recommend this one.

Snappy, smarmy, fine summer read

Vicki Allegretti always wondered what it would feel like to look into the barrel of a loaded gun, and now she knows.

Another great book by this author.

This is my first Scottoline mystery. From the first sentence it grabs you. There is murder, conspiracy, and a love trinagle. Devil's Corner is a neighborhood in Philadelphia, that has seen better days. A drug ring is taking over the neighborhood and there the mystery begins. Great Raad.

An interesting look at the ATF from the inside. Scottoline always has great, strong female characters, and there's a bit of romance in this as well.

Another excellent mystery by Scottoline.
Involves a lawyer (new character) but still set in
Philly.
