Very fun legal thriller, with some laughs and a little bit of a love story thrown in. An easy read.

Another great Scottolini thriller. What can a lawyer do when she has a sweet little old Italian man who admits to killing someone. "But it isn't murder," he insists.

Lawyer Judy Carrier has her hands full with this case. A delightful read and such an interesting look on family revenge and vendettas.

"The Vendetta Defense" is a real page turner! Scottoline is splendid with her characters and plots, leaving the reader wanting for more. This is one of Scottoline's better books...Well worth the read.

Scottoline knows her Italian heritage like the back of her hand.

One of Scottoline's best, INHO. Judy Carrier would never be taken for an attorney on the way she dresses but she gives her all for her client, Pigeon Tony, a senior citizen who kills but claims it is not "murder". It is vendetta.

This was Scottoline's best so far. Judy is the star of this episode and it is a real page turner. Light reading, as always, but a very interesting plot and great character development.

I love every book she's written, but don't take my word for it. The back of the book's blurb says it all: "Judy Carrier takes the case of her career to defend Anthony Lucia, fondly known as "Pigeon Tony", who freely admits to killing his lifelong enemy in order to settle a personal vendetta. Her client's guilt, however, is only the beginning of Judy's problems. The victim's family wants revenge and is determined to finish off Pigeon Tony and Judy before the case goes to trial. Then there's Pigeon Tony's hunky grandson, who makes Judy think about everything but the law. In a case steeped in blood and memory, it will take brains and a lot of luck to save Pigeon Tony. But if anyone will see justice done, it's this gutsy girl who'll rish everything to win - including her life."
