This is one of Stephen King's more creepy novels. I never saw the movie they made from this, and I'm not really sure how it would compare to the novel. There are many extremely disturbing scenes, and it leaves you really wondering about the twisted psyches of murderers. This is not Stephen King's usual horror mixed with fantasy -- the true horror of the novel is that it stems from actual historical events. Don't listen alone!
