Book Reviews of Once Upon a Marigold

This is probably my favorite book, in the whole wide world!!!
I love it!

I read this before it was published for a children's literature class. It had great ideas and characters, I just wish it had held it's momentum till the very end. None the less, a good book aimed at the younger YA audience.

Christian is gaga for Princess Marigold. He's just a commoner, though, and no match for royalty. Heck, he lives in a cave with a troll! And now he's discovered another reason to put his love-soggy heart on ice: Queen Olympia is scheming to take over the kingdom~and she'll bump off Marigold to do it!

Cute story, my kids loved it.

Once Upon a Marigold was my favorite childhood book. Its storyline was rather unique and it was funny yet sweet at the same time. It's the perfect love story for younger readers :)
