Book Reviews of Plum Lovin' (Stephanie Plum, Bk 12.5)

Slim but enjoyable Evanovich book. A bit less cohesive than the numbers series, and it feels a bit like what it was - an attempt to get the Stephanie Plum fan without a full numbers book release from Evanovich. Paperback Swap is the best way to read this one.

Lots of fun - cute break from the regular books. Diesel returns and we learn a little more about him and the Unmentionables. Also, some fun hints or maybe red herrings about who Stephanie eventually ends up with...

I love the between the numbers Stephanie Plum books as a quick fix between the real novels. Same great Plum antics in an itty bitty package.

This was a good book, but it's too short and seems like Evanovich is kind of desperate to keep her name out there between books. The plot was really reaching in some places. It's good, and definitely worth reading since some of the elements in the book will carry into #13, but it's not her best writing or my favorite of the series.

This book was short, sweet and funny as all get out! As much as I love the play between Stephanie, Ranger and Joe, when Stephanie teams up with Diesel, I laugh a little bit more.

This was a fun quick read. Stephanie becomes a matchmaker while working with hunky Diesel. The sexual tension is great.

The saying "When it rains, it pours" certainly applies to the love life of Stephanie Plum, the charming protagonist in Janet Evanovich's wildly popular mystery saga featuring the lingerie buyer turned bounty hunter (Twelve Sharp, Eleven On Top, et al.). In Plum Lovin' -- a "between-the-numbers" mini-escapade -- Plum's love triangle (which includes Trenton cop Joseph Morelli and bounty hunter Ricardo "Ranger" Manoso) suddenly becomes a quadrilateral when Diesel, a hunky heartthrob who is as mentally unstable as he is mysterious, suddenly shows up in Plum's life.

A self-proclaimed Unmentionable (someone with abilities that "go beyond what would be considered normal human limitations"), Diesel is somewhere between a certifiable wack job and a superhero with a bad attitude, but Stephanie couldn't care less about his grasp (or lack thereof) on reality: He has killer dimples and a smile that makes women weak in the knees. And he has Annie Hart, a bail-jumping "relationship expert" who is on Stephanie's most wanted list, in his possession. For Plum to get hold of Hart, however, she must first help out five of Annie's lovelorn clients. So, with Valentine's Day quickly approaching, Plum is forced to play Cupid for a divorced mother of four, a dorky vet, a 35-year-old virgin, a shy butcher, and her sister's boyfriend!

I love Stephanie Plum! This was a good fast read. I highly recommend it!

Just a funny, in-between, novel book with Stephanie still playing bounty hunter and getting in over her head. This time she's playing matchmaker for Valentine's Day as a condition of getting on of her clients.

Her sister is still single and waiting for Albert to marry her.

Stephanie still has Joe and Ranger as her love interests!

Nice, fluff, to break the monotony of a series!

I LOVED THIS BOOK. If you're a fan of Janet Evanovich you will love this book too. It's rather short but it still has all the elements that we love in a Stephanie Plum book. Can't wait to read the next one!!!

I couldn't stop laughing...

Just as good as all of the others in this series. If you haven't read the series you must start with One for the Money and read them all. Good humor.

This book isn't as good as the "Real" Plum books but it does introduce "Diesel" who is interesting and sexy so it's worth reading.

Love, love, love the Stephanie Plum series. This was no exception. Quick read with all the fun characters but not as serious a plot. Great for a quick Plum fix! Would definately read again during a withdrawl period!

Another great Stephanie Plum adventure...Diesel is back and in this fast-read, between-the-numbers book, Stephanie and Diesel are looking for the same person: a relationship expert who is being stalked by an unmentionable.

Stephanie's family is crazy as ever and Stephanie agrees to take over for the relationship expert until Diesel can catch her stalker. Hilarious...and a fun, temporary departure from the Ranger/Joe Morelli saga!

This was a light and fast-moving story, but I find the in-between books in the Plum series to be a bit over the top. They are clever but unable to hold my attention as the numbered tomes do.

Quick light read, as always Janet is funny.

Cute book.....but not as humorous as the "numbers". After all, how could it be as good as the others......no Ranger or Morelli in this one. Still, a good fast read. Stephanie is once again up to her eyeballs in fiascos.

This is called a "Stephanie Plum Between-the-Numbers Novel. And as usual it is delicious and hilarious! I throughly enjoyed it and read it in one day. Janet Evanovich is the only author that can make me laugh until I cry!

Cute Stephanie Plum short story. Only 164 pages.. very fast read

This is a very fun book. As with any Plum novel I coudn't put it down. Not to spoil it but there is a wedding and you will never guess who.

Love, love, love this book! If you love Stephanie Plum, you'll love this "in between the novels" book. I laughed so hard I almost cried! Enjoy!!!!!

Diesel joins Stephanie in looking for another Untouchable. Not much Ranger or Morelli, but Albert Kloughn returns. At certain parts, the book had me giggling so much I awoke my husband while he was trying to sleep - I just couldn't keep from laughing right out loud!

Another funny book by Evanovich. A lot like the Christmas Plum book (can't remember the name) she did. It's a "between the numbers" book. So it's a little far fetched, kind of out there, but funny as usual. Diesel is back and Joe and Ranger make just cameo appearances. Fun read, short book, great for an afternoon by the pool, or an afternoon by the fireplace for those of you in the cold country! :)

164 pages, but just as fun as the full-length Plum books. Lots going on, lots of laughs, lots of characters (Joe and Ranger both make a brief appearance in the book, and Lula, Tank, and Stephanie's family are all part of the story as well). Well written. I really enjoyed it and didn't mind that it was shorter.

This is a Stephanie Plum novel - Between-the-Numbers. Not only does Stephanie have Morelli on the hook; and ranger in the shadows; but now Diesel comes to call again. Grandma is at it again - I won't tell you what she does this time!

Is there another love interest for Stephanie? Find out more in this book, maybe! Very cute and entertaining. Short read but nice to have considering the wait for 13 seems like it is taking forever. Loved it
